tr_🇺🇦 Absolutely massive deathcore sound. Sluggish tempo, atmospheric and beyond heavy. Beastly growls. Excellent. Favorite track: Swallowed by the Rot.
Metallurgical Fire
Metallurgical Fire thumbnail
Metallurgical Fire Abyssal is one of the heaviest EPs I’ve ever listened to. It’s not just heavy, though. There is complexity, atmosphere, and the gutturals are one of a kind.

Joseph Parker This ep is one of my favorite things lately. After a couple of listens, these songs became so comfy that every time I play them now it feels like home. The guitars growl, the vocals roar from the abyss, and at times you're floating on an eerie melody before being snatched to the suffocating depths of this alien abyss Nott has managed to create. Truly awesome stuff if you're a fan of downtempo or doom-paced music.

This realm lay in ruin. The earth moans as I stir. An abomination of time; This glimpse of a prophet of light. Come to me. (x2)
2.
In the silence of desolation, I breathe. My seismic footfalls, Their trembling limbs, The forest shudders As I walk beside them. The stench of death That seeps beneath Constricts their roots of life That I now seek. Gone are the days of filth, Yet still I cannot see. The black liquid fills my eyes And reflects the mire deep. Tar pours from my mouth. Silenced; a world wiped clean. A promise eradicated: Their remnants line the canopy. Devastation. As I stand here, towering Amidst the smoldering flesh. Judgment falls upon this earth: The congregation of disintegration.
3.
They gaze in rapture Of my sermon. The ashen abyss Of this wasteland of hate. Where are you now? Quarantined to nothingness. What have you gained? A final stillness; Praying for anything but this. Despair. I bid you welcome To this womb of nihility. Fathom a dimension of nothing And feast upon the plague.
4.
Behold: divine obliteration. Conjure an absolute ruination. Praying to their gods as if they’ll save them, Deprived of all their putrid, useless skin. Collapse at my feet as I initiate. I see them wither away. Ravenous faces stare aimlessly upward. The world they once knew, erased. Swallowed by the rot. Banished from being, Realize your ruin. Force-fed hemlock Past their shards of teeth, For once I feel alive. For once I breathe. Clutching to their tongues, Their purpose now defunct. Eaten by the surface tar; Swallowed by the rot. Origin of hubris, Witness mass extinction.

". . . this is a concentrated aural attack that peels flesh from bone with sheer ferocity and raw power. Nott seeks to violently confront any and all listeners, and leave them crushed in the dust, and damned if it’s not good at that." - Heavy Blog is Heavy

"The vocals, as always, are almost vomited to you and that’s one of the key elements to Nott‘s insanely twisted sound. And the lyrical content is quite good, depicting this divine eradication in a putrid but somewhat beautiful manner." - Can This Even Be Called Music

"The gutturals that this man can produce are violent. They sound like they came out of the monster on the front cover of his ‘Abyssal’ EP. . . . From the crushingly slow and brutal instrumentals to the great vocals, this man is a force to be reckoned with." - The Revival of Deathcore
